Heating firewood and charcoal supplier for the UK

UK wholesale gas prices move with the European market, and this winter they are high. Log burners are widespread across the UK, and importers are building firewood stock for the heating season and charcoal stock for the barbecue season that follows.

Ready to Burn in England

In England, firewood sold in quantities under 2 cubic metres must be certified Ready to Burn, which requires a moisture content of 20% or less, and packs must show the logo and the supplier’s certificate number. If you sell retail bags in England, tell us the moisture and labelling your certification needs; the quotation confirms the specification of the lot, backed by its laboratory test report.

Ports and import documents

Containers are shipped to Felixstowe, Southampton or London Gateway. The UK is outside the EU, so EUDR does not apply; UK plant-health import rules do, and your customs agent will handle the import pre-notification. The phytosanitary certificate and other documents are agreed in the supply contract.

Documents with every shipment

Each shipment is accompanied by shipping documents, health certificates and a laboratory test report identifying the nature of the product. A phytosanitary certificate and any other destination-specific documents are agreed in the supply contract.

How to order for the UK

1. Send the product, quantity, pack format and the port of discharge (for example Felixstowe).
2. Tell us the moisture, size and labelling requirements of your customers.
3. Choose FOB, CFR or CIF. Price, specification and shipping schedule are confirmed in a written quotation for each order.
