Start with the intended use
Tell your supplier whether the fertilizer enquiry is for agricultural or industrial use. This is a procurement requirement, not simply a label: it helps the seller identify the relevant grade and supporting documentation before quoting.
What the supplied agricultural sheet says
The Abu Qir Fertilizers sheet supplied to Apex ChemTrade identifies granular fertilizer grade urea with nitrogen of at least 46%, biuret of no more than 1%, moisture of no more than 0.5%, and at least 95% of grains in the 2–4.5 mm size range. It lists agricultural application.
These are specification limits. The analysis column in that sheet contains separate figures; those figures should not be treated as the guaranteed analysis of a future shipment.
Industrial use needs its own requirements
If your requirement is industrial, state the process or intended finished product and attach your purchasing specification when exchanging documents with the sales team. Do not assume an agricultural grade is suitable merely because its nitrogen content matches your target.
The product listed on this site is fertilizer grade. An industrial-use enquiry does not mean technical grade or DEF suitability has been confirmed. Ask the seller to confirm whether a suitable grade and the relevant documents can be offered.
What to include in the enquiry
- Agricultural or industrial use.
- Product grade and your required specification.
- Volume in metric tonnes and packaging preference.
- Destination country, named port and delivery window.
- Required technical, batch or inspection documents.
Can agricultural urea automatically replace industrial urea?
No such suitability is established by the supplied agricultural data sheet. Confirm the grade against your application requirements before agreeing an order.

Clear answers. Better decisions.
Is agricultural urea the same as industrial urea?
They can share a nitrogen content and still not be interchangeable. The supplied agricultural data sheet does not establish suitability for industrial processes, so confirm the grade against your application requirements before agreeing an order.
What does 46% nitrogen mean?
It is the minimum total nitrogen content by weight, 46% as a minimum on the supplied Abu Qir Fertilizers sheet. It is the headline figure for fertilizer value, but it does not on its own describe suitability for a given use.
Why does biuret content matter?
Biuret forms during urea production and can affect sensitive crops and some industrial processes. The supplied specification lists 1% maximum.
What grain size should I expect?
The supplied specification lists 95% minimum within 2 to 4.5 mm. State your handling or blending requirement if a narrower range matters to you.
What should I include when asking for urea?
Intended use, quantity, packaging, destination and any documents your import requires. Those five let us return a complete offer rather than a price indication.
