Egypt is one of the larger urea-producing countries in the region, and buyers across Africa, Europe and Asia source nitrogen fertilizer from Egyptian producers. If you are buying granular urea 46% for the first time, the difficulty is rarely finding material — it is getting an offer precise enough to compare against another.
This page sets out what Apex ChemTrade supplies, what we need from you, and what you receive back.
What we supply
Granular urea with a minimum total nitrogen content of 46%, according to the supplied Abu Qir Fertilizers technical data sheet. The parameters we quote against are:
| Parameter | Supplier specification |
|---|---|
| Total nitrogen | 46% min. |
| Biuret | 1% max. |
| Moisture | 0.5% max. |
| Grain size | 95% min. (2–4.5 mm) |
These figures are transcribed from the provider sheet. Final specifications and availability are confirmed in the written offer and in the batch documentation that accompanies the shipment.
We are a seller, not a manufacturer. Production and product documentation belong to the respective provider; naming them lets you trace every figure above to its source.
Agricultural or industrial — decide before you enquire
This is the single most common cause of a mis-specified order. Agricultural grade and industrial grade urea are not interchangeable simply because the nitrogen content matches. The supplied agricultural data sheet does not establish suitability for industrial processes, and an industrial buyer who orders on nitrogen content alone may receive material that meets the specification but not the application.
Tell us the intended use in your first message and we will quote the correct grade. Our guide on agricultural versus industrial urea covers the distinction in detail.
What to include in your enquiry
An offer is only as precise as the enquiry behind it. Include:
- Intended use — agricultural or industrial, and the process if industrial
- Quantity — per shipment, and whether this is a one-off or a recurring requirement
- Packaging — bulk bags, 50 kg sacks, or bulk
- Destination — discharge port or delivery address
- Documents — any certificate of analysis, inspection or phytosanitary paperwork your import requires
With those five, we can confirm availability and return a complete offer rather than a price indication you cannot act on.
Packaging and shipment
Packaging is agreed per order. Bulk bags suit volume movements; 50 kg sacks suit distribution and smaller consignments. Bag type, liner, marking and loading arrangement are confirmed before shipment. Shipping can be arranged as part of the supply.
What you receive
A written offer setting out grade, specification, quantity, packaging, delivery terms and validity. No price is published on this site, because a meaningful figure depends on volume, packaging, destination and timing — quoting one without those would be guesswork.
See the full urea specification or send your requirement and we will come back with an offer.

Clear answers. Better decisions.
Do you supply urea from Egypt?
Yes. We supply granular urea with a minimum 46% total nitrogen, according to the supplied Abu Qir Fertilizers technical data sheet.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Quantity is agreed per order and depends on packaging and destination. State your requirement and we confirm availability.
Do you quote FOB or CIF?
Either. Tell us the delivery term you work on, since the two are not comparable and quoting the wrong one costs a round trip.
Can you supply industrial grade urea?
State the intended use. The supplied agricultural sheet does not establish suitability for industrial processes, so the grade is confirmed against your application.
